Rice concentrate (or rice hulls) is the fibre and silica part of the outer layer of rice and does not contain any of the white rice.
It is a natural source of silica and one of the most effective anti-caking agents available. Most other food supplement companies use synthetic anti-caking agents like Silicon Dioxide. Bariboost uses a small amount of a natural, certified organic and gluten-free rice concentrate powder.
The rice concentrate powder we use is made by a patent-pending process to grind the sterilized rice hulls in such a way that the silica particle size is optimized for use as flow agents in food supplements.
As rice naturally takes up silica from the soil and concentrates it in its hulls, it produces a healthy and natural alternative to other synthetic anti-caking/flow agents like silicon dioxide.
